The Victoria and Albert Museum in London is the world's foremost museum of art and design and provides inspiration for designers the world over thanks to it's collections which encompass textiles, fashion, photography, graphics and jewellery. Adapted from an 1860 wallpaper design by Owen Jones found in the archives of the museum, both mugs in this gorgeous set of two have a matching stylised scallop shell print, with accents picked out in metallic gold, over a vibrant turquoise background. To finish off the luxurious look, the mugs have shaped handles completely covered in a gold finish for the most elegant of tea times!
